Overview

As USPTO moves to a DevSecOps model, the BOSS contract encompasses securing Agile Teams and other activities in support of development, modernization, and enhancement (DME), and operations and maintenance (O&M) of USPTO products, which are comprised of both legacy and modernized components (custom, COTS, and GOTS). The USPTO will issue task orders describing the scope of the work required for individual products to achieve desired KPIs and performance metrics, including the following services and related items:

• Program Management
• System and Software Development
• Architecture and Desig
• Manual & Automated Testing
• Configuration and Release Management
• Operations and Maintenance
• User Experience Design
• Application Database
• Agile Scrum Master

The contractor shall provide the USPTO Agile teams that are cross-functional and have the T-Shaped skills needed to deliver business value during each sprint or iteration.

The USPTO Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) seeks technical capability along with innovative concepts, methodologies, and industry best practices to transform its legacy operations to the next generation.
